February is Crossover Month

We have around 15 Webelos crossing over to join us at Troop 520 this month.

Pack 546 – Monday Feb 6^th at Emily Dickinson

Pack 581 – Tuesday Feb 7^th at BearCreekSchool

Pack 591 – Saturday Feb 18^th at the Assembly of God Church

Pack 557 – Sunday Feb 26^th at the Assembly of God Church

Scouts are encouraged to sign up and attend one of these crossovers and help welcome their new scout brothers as they continue on the best, toughest, coolest part of their scouting trail … with us!

The Sledding/Winter Camping trip has been rescheduled -- postponed one week to January 28-29. To prepare for this outing, the planning and required winter pack check will be at Monday's meeting (January 23). Since the date has changed, there will be an opportunity to (re)register for the trip at Monday's meeting as well. This is always a great trip, and you know there will be lots of snow!

There are three upcoming activities that provide an opportunity for Webelos and their parents to interact with Troop 520 Boy Scouts and their parents.

Orienteering with Troop 520 - Sunday, October 16th, 1:30 – 4pm at Farrel-McWhirter Park. This is an excellent opportunity to meet and have fun with some Troop 520 scouts and learn a basic outdoor scout skill.

Webelos Woods - Saturday, October 22 at First Baptist Church of Redmond (Education Hill). First session: 8am – 12:00pm, Second session: 12:30 - 4:30pm. This is a district activity where the Webelos come to meet each of the troops and learn some scout skills at the various stations.

Troop 520 Open House Meeting - Monday, Nov 21, 7 - 8:30pm at Redmond Presbyterian Church (10020 166th Ave NE). Boys and their parents are welcome to join us at this Open House troop meeting. Boys will participate in various Boy Scout-run activity sessions. During the scout activity, parents are invited to attend a casual T520 orientation session.

On behalf of the rest of RPC, we wanted to thank everyone (scouts, leaders and parents) that came out to help with our work party on Saturday (7/16).
We hosted approximately 160 delegates to the Seattle Presbytery last night (7/19) and we have had glowing reviews as to the condition of our facilities and grounds.
Your troop played a big part in getting things to look their best and for that we say a big Thanks! 
We truly appreciate the troop’s efforts and continued partnership.
